Esprit de Famille
This wine is made from 30-year-old vines, drawing in this clay-limestone soil covered with rolled pebbles, the aromas of the southern terroir. The vines are all trellised and the yields are low: 45hl / Ha.
The grapes are picked at full maturity. The cuvee Esprit de Famille is vinified in thermo-regulated concrete vats. The vatting and maceration take place over 10 days. The harvest is completely destemmed. Two daily pumpings allow a regular oxygenation of the must and a soft extraction of tannins and aromas.
This blend is a blend of 90% Syrah and 10% Grenache.
Deep red with clear ruby highlights. Fruity aromatic nose associated with a mineral note reminiscent of the pencil lead. Generous palate with melted tannins allowing violet aromas to develop.

Perfect on a stew, a lamb tajine, grilled meats.
