AOP Grignan-les-Adhémar
Grignan-les-Adhémar vineyards
Located between the North and South of the Rhone Valley, the vineyard of Grignan-Les-Adhémar covers 1800 hectares in the region of Drôme Provençale. The vineyards cradled by the Mistral, under a Mediterranean sun, between lavender and olive trees give elegant and gourmet wines.
Our production
The production is mainly focused on red wine, 67%, wines with aromas of spices and red and black berries. The white wines represented at 19% and the rosés, 14%, are elegant, fresh and fruity.
AOP Grignan-les-Adhémar
The territory of our AOP is a kind of mosaic of terroirs that, with their diversity, provide a range of wines with slightly different personalities.
The grape varieties most represented on all vineyards are Syrahs, Grenache, Cinsaults, Viogniers, Marsannes and Roussannes.
In total, around 8 million bottles per year are produced on all the domains belonging to the Grignan-Les-Adhémar AOP.
Finally, the “plus” of our AOP is definitely its landscape, shaped by small streams sneaking between the hills sheltering fauna and flora creating a bucolic environment that is found in the mouth during the tasting.
